My car was smoking very heavily like as bad if not worse then those cars in some of those videos. So I pulled the turbos out hoping it be the cheaper of the 2 motor or turbo. Well I was right the rear turbo had oil coming out of the exhaust side, it had about 1/4th inch play in it and crach all in the manifold. Well I got it all rebuilt blah blah. Now I have 0 smoke at idle and normal driving but if I hit boost any I get a pretty decent size cloud of oil smoke behind the car, not as big as it used to be. After I get that smoke it slowly diminishes over about 2-3 minutes until its gone again.
Soo.. was it possibly both the motor and the turbos that were leaking oil or could it possibly be somthing else Im not thinking of. The motor was rebuilt about 17k miles ago by MZM Performance. Any help would be appreciated. Yes I have searched and read possibly everything about smoking on this board. Thats were Id came to the conclusion the turbos were bad and yes that did fix about 80% of my smoke.
Well after thinking about it some... I think I figured it out... My dumbass didnt clean out the piping and intercooler... So I bet theres quite a bit of oil in there... I mean i was going through about a quart of oil every 15 miles.
