Does anyone have a side exhaust setup on an FD? I saw a pic of a black FD with an exhaust coming out along the side. I was thinking that'd look pretty cool and sound nice and loud...lol I don't think I could do this with the emission police around. Have any of you other guys done this and what'd it entail?

it would probally be crazy loud and you'd need an ecu upgrade

There was a thread in the race car section about this a few months ago. If you do a search, I think you will find some good info.

I saw a picture one time of a pettit race FD with a hole cut in the right/rear side for the exhaust pipe. Cool idea just ruined the bodywork.

I've seen M2's race car and it has a side exhaust as well. You would have to fab a tunnel in the floorpan which eliminates any possibility of having a passenger seat.
