RX7 idles at 2500rpm and wont go down??

When I first turn it on it jumps to 2500 rpm and stays there, it wont budge

and before that happened it used to bounce the idle up and down repeadly ??

have any of you heard about this problem or know what I should do or look for ??

There is a thread going on about this right now. It should be in the first couple of pages of the forum.

First I hope you know your car when it is at a cold start has an automatic warm up system where it will rev your car up to 2500-3000 rpm until it feels the car is warm enough and slowly go back down. You can by pass this by just bleeping the gass really quickly and it should lower your idle to norma. If it still Ideas that high, check your PCV valves for leaks or cracks, I had a similar problem before.
