RX6 Fast-Passed IL Emissions!

Took off everything emissions-wise but the air pump and main cat when I did my single turbo conversion and squeaked by on the fast pass! Plus, that denatured alcohol trick works wonders . I just wish the dumbass tester didn't feel obligated to light up my tires to drive the ten feet to the dyno and the next ten to the end of the test bay. Goddamn Vin Diesel ruined this car for everyone.

Anyway, check it out:

If a mechanic spun my tires I'd have his shop in a half a second. I'd have a lawyer on the phone for suing him for negligance ASAP. ****** dumb *** disrespectful people **** me off so bad.

Yeah. It wasn't terrible, but I don't get the point. I gave him some **** about it afterward; there's just no call for that. Some people aren't too bright....

Congrats, I'm feelin you! But could you please be a little clearer about exactly what you did to pass? I will have to worry about this in the very near future and my 7 is very much anti-emissions...

- Put on main cat?
- Add denatured alcohol to the gas tank?
- Boost settings? Heat up cat a lot?
- Oh and finally which testing station did you frequent, I may have to pay them a visit when my turn comes

Feel free to pm me the info if you would rather keep it on the dl. Thanks again for the 411 and congrats!

I agree on the denatured alcohol... works great, especially to keep the carbon monoxide down.
