Replacing wheel studs w/ longer ones?

Has anyone replaced the stock wheel studs to fit different wheels? I have a set of centerline drag lite wheels (i think thats the brand), but the stock studs aren't long enough to get the wheels to bolt up.

I would think it would be as easy as punching out the stock studs, and putting in the longer replacements. Has anyone done it?

I saw that thread, I was hoping there was an easier way....looks like the easy way is to just get another set of stock wheels with sticky tires for the track.

Yeah,...Unfortunately there is NEVER an easy way with these cars! Your best bet for the least amount of frustration is doing what you said, Getting new sticky rubber and wheels that fit the car.
