Replacing the stock tacho - Which one fits?
Hi,
I have had the fluctualing/ sticking tacho problem and have been inside twice to resolder all the joints. i did every one of them and unfortunately still no luck.
I am thinking about replacing the stock unit with an aftermatket one. i read in an old post that the Apex 4" gauge will fit. Can anyone offer any help witht he fitting procedure, or on which gauge to buy?
All help is greatly appreciated.
Trevor

Why not get a monster tach? they are fairly cheap if bought used and work correctly and have shift lights unlike our stockers. i think that its a good alternative if he can't afford the 4inch apexi one which runs over 400 bucks and is hell to try to get in right??? at least he will beable to know what rpm he is at. i have seen people go for over a year not knowing what rpm they are at, they are all selling their cars now though as their engines are dying/dead haha. oh well, live and learn...
