removing air con for engine space

hi does any one know how to remove all the air con unit out the engine for space gonna relocate ma battery too sore a pic of this engine and loved it want to make mine like it as it looks less cluttered unlike mine attached pics mines the less bad *** engine

pictures rather than instructions would help me cheers

the first pic with a ??? on the top, i think is the FPR. the circular piece looks like an AST thats matted to the water pump? on the second pic the water pump is right near the y-pipe. you can see the cap. the rectangular piece looks like an oil catch can. and it looks like the air con and power steering were removed from both.

hmmm the second pic is my engine - want to get rid of that air con unit tho, but wanna keep the power steering just don't know if its possible or how easy it is

The FSM is a sticky at the top of this forum.

The instructions tell how to remove the AC.

Keep in mind that if you remove the condenser under the dash, you need to put the plastic section (gutted) back in place if you want your heater to work.

Removing the AC can be done in a 4 hours or so.

It might be a good idea to first get the Freon evacuated at a shop. They will charge you about $20 to do that. Don't drip the oil from the system on anything painted. If you do however, clean it up quick.

you can remove the ac fairly easily. you just need to buy a new belt that fits with the missing pulley. pm me if you need the part number.

it scares me that you dont know where the water pump and a/c is but you want to do this yourself. either way, good luck
