Remove the Night Sports FCDF Type N fuel cut defender?
Ive bought a 93 Rx7 imported secondhand from Japan, it drives fine however I'm wondering if I should remove the fuel cut defender?
My reason is I'm not sure if its a good idea for a fairly stock FD to have a chance of running over STD boost.
(but if ain't broke don't fix comes to mind)
Its a Night Sports FCDF Type N fuel cut defender specifying its for a FD3S(13B-REW) and looks like it was installed in japan ie its been in there for a long time and not given any grief).
The computer looks factory and untampered ie unlikely another chip inside, not sure if they can be re flashed/programmed?
Car has 137,000km, rebuilt engine 20,000 km by previous owner as a water seal went.
It runs within std boost
Mods are
Apexi dual pod intake
Hiflow cat
Cat back exhaust
