I think they look the way they should...it shows that alotta people on the board do it right the first time. When you're going to the trouble of ripping out an engine, to replace a part, it's best to check out everything, and replace ANYTHING that needs it.

Turbojeff taught me that lesson, and I have the peace of mind that I didn't before I did it. Tuning was the next stop after that...and now that it's done...I sleep better at night. Or at least I will when I get to drive it again..it's been over 9 months since I've gotten to take her out for a spin.

But when I do, I know that she'll be good as new...

I would go for the full rebuild, if not, yoru gonnas end up taking your engine apart more than once to replace **** seperately, it might be less money all at once, but it will be ALOT more when added up.

agreed, that was what i thought to and was my intention from the start... just cavasing opinion to make sure that even a newbie knows you rebuild the babies if you have to open them up.

what parts do i need? do i just geta full rebuild kit from somewhere like rotary aviation and then check housings and rotor when i get there?

or is there a better/more complete rebuild kit out there i should know about?

i'm a man on a budget, but all advice is great!

Pull it apart and replace all the seals, spec out the housings and rotors to see what you need to replace. But depending on how bad the motor went it might be smarter to get a reman.
