Question on rebuilding the stock twins

Alright Im gonna rebuild my twins insted of upgrading. I would like to do it myself but when I check out other sites step by step they say I need a GLASS BEED BLASTER. What is a glass beed blaster? Do I really need it?

And can anyone recomend a good rebuild kit for stock twins?

I would buy a used set before I rebuilt my own...there are so many floating around and I've seen them go for 100 bucks. There are some on ebay right now for a hundred. glass beed blaster is like a power washer that shoots little beeds.
