Question on modified efini y-pipe

Can I use a modified efini y-pipe with the stock R1 strut bar? (Modified to work with aftermarket IC, i.e. flange cut off, bead welded on rim)

It looks like the IC pipe will be too high and not clear the strut bar. Any insights or suggestions?

Thanks,
Ken

My question would be: What's the pint of buying an Efini y-pipe and then removing the feature (bolt connection) that was the reason you bought it in the first place? If you're going to convert it back to a coupler connection, use the stock y-pipe.

What if I were to modify my aftermarket, air-pump friendly IC pipe by welding on a flange to mate with the efini y-pipe. Would that clear the strut bar?
