Question to all Trust Greddy V-Mount owners

Hey guys,

I have bought the standard Trust Greddy v mount kit. When I unpacked the radiator I noticed that it loked bent/crooked. I've attached a picture to illustrate what I mean.

My question is, is that radiator shaped like this from the factory or did that happen during tranport or might this be a manufacturing failure? I mean considering the price of this kit I'd expect top quality.

Would be nice if someone could share his experience.
Thanks.

Marcel

My v-mount isn't Greddy, but looking at the length of the brackets, it looks like that slant is on purpose.

OP,
Have you contacted the seller/vendor to get their input?

I'm the Seller/Vendor.

Out of respect for Marcel I will not say anything other than we have been in contact constantly since the sale and through the shipping process and that I will ensure that he is happy however that has to happen.

Mine is straight, but if your fans bolt up straight then the radiator was built that way, and most likely be fine if all the bracket/hose/ducting all line up perfect.

another question (supplied condensor tube)

Anyone run into issues with the supplied tubing for the a/c system on our cars? The fittings that are brazed onto the tubing are the wrong size for my system. I have a jdm car with what i believe from reading online the US/JIC fittings. I was part of the group buy with sakebomb garage.

The FC and FD both came with a bunch of different AC systems IIRC.

Yeah I believe they did. It looks like the greddy v mount kit flips the condenser upside down leaving the smaller straight "out" port fitting on top. I was told that this may reduce the efficiency of the A/C cause the liquid has to travel up instead of gravity doing its magic. Or something like that.. I think I recall someone on here saying something about it. If my OCD kicks in I may have to fab up two brackets and make new lines.
