Pump,hoses,emissions..

First off, hello to all here.Im new to the forum posting but have been doing alot of searching in the past. This one,I cant get a straight answer on,so I figured id post and TRY to get help or guided to the right place. Here goes....

I just bought a 93 with stock everything, except the nice aluminum looking air intakes.I have never had a 13b before, let alone fuel injection.Out of the 1st gen 12a's,we take every little emission line there is,etc. What is safe to take off the 93 and still have a nice idle, better HP?Im in Jersey, and im not worried about taking the car through inspection, ill get a sticker,i just want to remove all that crap on top of the engine.

Anyone that can guide me to either the right place(if it has been posted before on a how-to)or any place in Jersey where I can take this to so i can get it done?Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!!

The air pump is usually the first emissions related part to come off of these cars. It can be eliminated with a Greddy pully set. But note that if you take off the air pump, you should get rid of the cat as well, because without it the cat will clog up. You can buy a set of block off plates from RX7Store to get a lot of the parts from under and around the UIM, i.e. ACV, AWS, EGR valve etc. However, some notice a rough idle without the air pump as I did, but this can be fixed with the addition of a properly tuned Power FC.

Here's the link to the Pulleys and BOPs.
