Question pressure chamber & wg control / turbo precontrol solenoid relocation?

I'm putting my engine/setup together for the first time, and it seems I may have backed myself into a corner with my fuel rail setup choice.
I'm running the CJ motorsports parallel rails with Y port and Fuel Lab FPR that mounts on the UIM where the wastegate control and turbo precontrol solenoids normally mount.
So now I have no home for those two solenoids, and no home for the pressure chamber. Aside from the fuel rail setup, I don't seem to have any of the original mounting points for the pressure chamber anyway. I've deleted the air pump and have gone v-mount.

My creativity is falling short, so I was wondering if anyone has relocated either, or had any pics/ideas of ways it's been done.

I could possibly try to return my rails for the regular ones, and run in series with the FPR at the back of the secondary rail.
Or I could stay with these rails, plug the y-port, and redo the lines. However, I'd prefer not to have to do that if I don't have to...

thanks,
Ben

So for the pressure chamber you could make a custom one from SS or aluminum. A few people one here did that, and placed it under or behind the UIM. Just make sure the volume capacity is about the same, and obviouly new longer tubing would be needed.

For the solenoids you could extend the wires and tubing and place them maybe somewhere under the UIM?

I did something like you're describing. I simplified the solenoid rack, removing ACV and EGR but keeping sequential solenoids and double-throttle. I chopped the top row off the original metal rat's nest solenoid rack and made simple c-shaped brackets to mount the wastegate & precontrol solenoids where the top row had originally been. I removed most (possibly all) of the original metal vacuum lines and replaced them with new vacuum line.

In hindsight I should have removed the double-throttle solenoid and made the vacuum lines a bit simpler.

You can really mount those wherever you like. Its just a matter of fabricating brackets, extending wires, and running new hoses.

thanks for the help guys. been a busy week, so I'm sorry for the late response.

scotty305: I like how you mounted solenoids, it gives me some good ideas.

I'll see what I can come up with this weekend.

Ben
