Which plug is this?? For 5 speed conversion guys.

On the 5 Speed Harness there is a white clip that i cant figure out where it plugs into. I tried starting my car today and it would not start. Spoke to some people (experts) and they say that it has to get connected or the car wont start. Can someone verify this?? Does anyone have a wiring diagram harness to tell me if that plug even gets plugged it? or even better yet can someone go and look for me to see where it gets connected to?? The clip is on the automatic harness as well but i dont see any empty clips for me to plug it into. Someone help please!! Its the very top white clip.

Should be a connector way up under the back of the dash. It is hard to reach. Goes to the guages.

LOL thats what he said but i dont see jack! Is it actually there because im serious i really dont see anything. And if the plug is the same for the automatic then it should have been left up there unplugged so i would have seen it.

okay
for everyone else i found the clip. But. the harness that comes from the dash is a bigger clip than the one on the 5 speed harness. There is no way in hell iam the only one that could have run into this problem. This is the reason why my car wont start from what the expert is telling me. The real problem is im not getting a pulse to my primary injectors. So i checked everything twice. Ground points clips wiring etc. But the expert is telling me that if that white clip does not get connected to the dash then the car wont start. But my problem is the 5 speed harness clip is smaller than the automatic dash clip. They dont connect.

Okay heres some pics of the auto harness clip. Now there is some kind of extra harness which the expert is telling me was the recall harness. Mazda Had a recall years back and added this harness for a extra grond? Do i need to run this harness?? The auto one has a small balck box on the end of it. That 5 speed harness does not.

In the first pic you can compare the difference between the connectors. The one on the right is a bigger clip which is the Auto Harness. The one on the left is a smalled clip and that is the 5 speed harness.

The 2nd picture is the Auto Harness attachment with the black box on the end of it.

The 3rd is the 5 speed harness attachement.

The 4th is the both of them.

Now whats left in the car is the 5 speed Harness which i have already ran and the Automatic Harness coming from behind the dash which the engine harness is supposed to plug into but WILL not because the clips are different. The 5 speed White clip is smaller than the Automatic cluster gauge clip. I know someone who had done a 5 speed swap had to run into this problem. Any suggestions? And NO i do not want to pull the dash to swap out that harness. There should be no reason for that.

OK I took a picture of inhibitor switch, and labled the wires. Think i got it down except for a few sensors.

8+9 Connect=power
2+7 Connect to reverse sensor on Tranny=Reverse light
?+? =Netural
?+?=1-2 switch

But where is the inhibitor switch?
And do i still have to connect the wires on the tranny even though im using a 5 speed harness?
