PFS IC Duct work good with Greddy SMIC?

Has anyone tried this setup?
I have a small gap between my Greddy SMIC and I really want to fix it. It's pretty absurd to think Greddy would charge $1200-$1500 for an intercooler kit with such sh*tty "ducting". Those aluminum plates don't do anything in my opinion.

I just visited Peter Ferrell's site and they have a price list that states the standard intercooler ducting is $150. M2 won't sell just the ducting to me. I don't think Pettit sells just the ducting either, but correct me if I'm wrong. If Pettit does sell the duct, would it be better than the PFS duct?

What do you guys think? I know there'll be some trimming involved. I'm curious about how the install/fitment on the duct was and how well it will cover all the fins on the Greddy SMIC.

look at this site for an option.

You may also want to get some heat tape from Home Depot to tape the duct to the intercooler for better air sealing.

Thanks but I've read that before.
Is the PFS Duct and the Pettit Cool Charge II Duct the same? If they aren't then it only gives me a small idea of what to expect. Does Pettit sell their IC ducts alone? If so, I guess I'd be all set. Otherwise, the PFS duct would be my only option left.

Pettit doesn't have the Coolcharge 2 duct any more. I called them up to buy one ~ 3 months ago, and they were searching everywhere for a used one w/no luck.

I believe Batman made his own with some sheets of metal & heavy duty velcro

Which is exactly why I'm asking about the PFS Duct.

Yeah, I read Batman's post about his fabricated duct. I just don't think I'd have the time, patience, or ability to fabricate my own.

I put a pettic duct on my greddy smic .... those tripoint pics sold me on the greddy. Duct was a PIA, unless u have losts of time to piddle away.

there's enough greddy smic's out ther, RP or rxstore should consider getting a fiberglass boat shop to slap some direct fit greddy ducts. sign me up for one.
