Oil in the coolant
What does this mean? I know it's bad, but why is it bad? Well besides the fact that there's something that shouldn't be there. It's on the car I would like to purchase. The car has an oil leak somewhere near the turbos as well.

Take $3k at least off of the price, if you're willing to have the engine redone. If the seller still won't budge and you're interested, get a compression test and coolant leak-down test done by a dealership to provie it. It may be $100 out of your pocket, but it's not the price of an engine.

Every single person here who bought used will tell you that 1) they wished they had waited/searched longer, or 2) they were damn happy they waited/searched as long as they did.
For now, enjoy the fact you're test driving other people's cars. You're not wasting their time - it's a fact of life in buying FDs, whether they understand that or not is their problem.

yes an engine rebuild.
do you have a mechanic that KNOWS how to work on rotories in your area?
Your other oprtion is buying a remanufactured motor, and swaping the motors.
