noob question

im in the market for a 3rd gen rx7 93-95. i was wondering if all the turbo models are they all twin turbo setups or do they come in single turbo models as well? i get confused with the different models like R1 etc...

since i plan to get a aftermarket twin turbo kit, does it matter if i get the turbo model versus the non turbo model? do they come with the same base engine?

i get confused with all these different classified as stating single, twin or non turbo models.

thanks

All 3rd gen have twin turbos out of the factory. The Single setups are all aftermarket. R1 models have dual oil coolers, different suspension, and no sunroof, among other things. Read the FAQs, there's a lot of info there.
