Newbie Question

I've looked through the newbie facts stickied at the top of the forums, but I've been wondering...

What determines engine compression on rotary engines? I've been wondering how that works. Any help would be appreciated! .

Errr, compression as in... what's the major factor in having lower/higher compression ratios?

The compression ratio is determined by the size (depth) of the combustion surface machined into the rotor face.
