new FD engine wiring harness

I just bought an AIM data acquisition unit from this guy who works at rywire during 7Stock this past weekend, he told me that they make new milspec wiring harnesses for FD's, they are just released. I thought I post it here for the fellow rotorhead. I'm not affliated with these guys, but I do know that are probably some roasted wiring harnesses out there in the FD world (I've owned 2 in the past).

From Ryan of Rywire:

We actually do offer a replacement harness for the 13B. It is a
completely brand new harness with new connectors, new military spec
tefzel coated wiring and Raychem DR-25 heatshrink. We need to
advertise them and get the RX7 owners aware of this product now that
it is readily available. Here is a link to the harness:

Rywire : Mil-spec Tucked 13B harness (FD3S/Rx7) - $649.00

Thanks for bringing this up to the community!

Ironically, I have been contemplating a wire tuck prior to a repaint this Spring. With aged connectors, and bridle wire, it is definitely a nice upgrade. Also useful if I switch to a Haltech Sport, as it plugs into the OEM harness.

Thanks again!!

Just order one of this harness today, they were very helpful and they switch some of the injector connectors to work with my EV6 style ID injectors and with the bosch style fast reacting AIT sensor.

Serious necrobump, but had to know. Anyone with this harness know if it comes with the IAC/ISC connector?

It does not. It is only the bare essentials. However, I'm sure Ryan could incorporate it. Friendly and helpful guy. Shoot him an email. Also, he does supply the harness with 2 spare wires. It wouldn't take much to pin them in the proper ECU pin and end connector for whatever you wanted to run.

I plugged mine up last weekend and couldn't be happier.

damn those wires looks darn nice !

I wonder if he can make me a complete JDM harness. I'm sure they last much longer and better conductivity than OEM harness.

Call him 240-479-9473, talk to David. Or email at orders@rywire.com

I had David modified the harness and add 2 additional injector leads, Idle Control, boost control, and 1 spare TPS disconnect harnes and it wasn't much more than their stock harness.

This is one of the best products I purchased for my FD.

You just Y your secondary's injectors? Why not have them all separate to control them better.

Cause the ecu doesn't have extra injector outputs.

Regardless of cost I bet you had a blast laying that thing in your engine bay and clipping all the connectors together haha I remember how shot my harness was and I can't wait to get one of these to remove any doubts about connectivity
