moving AC & PS to replace oil line to pedestal

Can anyone give me some advice on this? I'm replacing the stock hard line with a new line for my new oil cooler setup.

Looks like everything is tough to get at. The manual seems to say you need to remove the PS pulley and get the 4 bolts behind it out, is that right? I'm replacing both belts and the idler pulley too so all that's off.

a quick write up would be great, a few tips should do the trick, thanks

It' fairly strait forward, but a pain to get to some of the bolts. You don't need to remove any lines so have something on hand to tie the p/s pump and compressor up out of the way. Becarefull of the p/s pump pulley it's brittle, a impact gun is the best way to remove the nut.

Why are you replacing that hard line? Why not just start your new line from the end of that one?

Remove power steering/ac belt. Blast off power steering pulley nut with impact gun and pop off the pulley. Remove the 4 12mm head bolts holding the pump to the bracket. The bottom one is kind of hard to see. Unplug the connector. Move the pump out of the way but don't disconnect the lines. A bunge cord can be used to secure it out of the way. The ac compressor is held on by 4 12mm head bolts. The top are easy to get to with a gear wrench or ratchet, but the bottom can be a pain. If you have a low profile 1/4 drive air ratchet you can speed things up. Unplug the connector and move the compressor out of the way as with the power steering pump and secure. Now you should be able to get to the bolts holding the ac/power steering bracket to the motor. Remember the alternator tensioner bracket bolts through the top of this bracket and may need to be removed. Unplug the ignition harness and make sure the spark plug wires and any other connectors aren't in the way. Loosen the 23mm head banjo bolt holding the oil line to the oil filter pedestal. Replace the lines and crush washers and put back in reverse order. You might as well change the o-rings under the pedestal at this time as well.

Sorry the bottom 2 bolts on the AC compressor that you mentioned could be a pain.

You have to come in from the top at those right? I even jacked up the car and had a look from underneath, but that's much worse.

I always get them from the top. It's a pain, but can be done.

I just used a 1/4" socket IIRC.
