misfire

just want some opinions from more experienced owners. im pretty sure its misfire, because i manually turned off each coil one by one through the aem ems and noticed that when i shut off the trailing #2 coil, there was no change in exhaust note. shutting off the other coils made a huge difference in the exhaust note.

what do you guys think? btw, the engine was flooded. i just recently revived it.

when you turn each coil off thru the ems, how did the engine react? Does it act violently as it gets turn off or stayed the same.

Sounds like you found the faulty coil though.

More information on the car (mods) would be easier to diagnose the problem.

the engine wants to die if i turn off the other coils. and there is no change when i disable the t2 coil. pretty sure the spark plug is dead on it cause of all the atf that was inside the rotors

Test the resistance on the coil, the FSM has details.

you're saying you think ATF killed your spark plug? Not sure if I understand you, but that's not likely.

well it turns out, that rear rotor blew an apex seal. i mean a normal piston compression tester is telling me that there is 110 psi compression on the rear rotor, and 115 on the front rotor. but when i manually hear the pulses
i can notice a huge difference. the front rotor goes "pst pst pst" one after another. very short pulses. the rear rotor pst's then misses two and then psts again.

blah?
