MAP sensor price in Europe.

I had a bad MAP sensor and car wouldn't go into boost.
I gave a call at the local Mazda dealer and after 30 min giving them the part number and explaining them what is it they found that they had one. They told me it would cost $500 USD. I said what the hell, i cannot find it in any other place in Cyprus, i'll buy it. And guess what? IT WAS A F*****G USED ONE in a very bad condition. I finally borrowed one from a friend of mine whos making a single convertion but he will need it in a couple of days.

Mazda Dealers in Europe sucks.

How much do you buy a stock MAP sensor in the states?

You know anywhere i can buy online or contact someone to have it shipped?

Antonis.

Call or e-mail Ray Crowe @ Malloy Mazda 1-888-533-3400
E-mail is www.HMKparts.com i believe. They will have it probably in stock if not they will have it in 3 days. Unfortunately you still need to prepare yourself for the sticker shock. That is a expensive part. My local dealer before I found Ray, sold me one for 420.00 USD. I think Ray will be better or equal to that.

If that e-mail link does not work,... contact me in a PM and I will contact Ray and give him your e-mail to get the ball rolling for you.

Ray's price is around $370 USD I believe.

racer1, you might check in the classifieds. I've seen them go for around $65 USD used on the forum before.

Why can you not just buy the GM one from rx7store for $119?? Will that not work?

That's what I was wondering, what is needed for using the GM 3Bar?

Edit, maybe not that much (except the ECU )

An aftermarket ECU?

From what i know you have to calibrate the ecu to read a 3bar one. You cannot do it on the stock ecu.
