Manual Drive shaft with auto rear diff?
Can you make the auto Companion flange work with the manual drive shaft? I think I read somewhere on here you can drill a new set of holes in it. Anyone tried anything like this? The auto driveshaft is 12mm longer maybe an aluminum spacer would do the trick?

Ok, from personal experience, ~5K miles, and numerous hard launches...... Manual drive shaft will work with the Auto Diff. The length DOES NOT really matter, I really didn't notice much of a difference on length when they were bolted in there. You could tell a minor difference when laying side to side but not much at all.
The driveshaft has a cricular ridge that you set in the auto driveshaft so It stays aligned. You then just drill new holes and bolt her on. Will work fine till you get the money for a manual diff. Don't be scared to get on it either. I recall numerous street launches with that thing on.

Hell I would get the manual diff flange... It was a pain to drill those damn holes in all honesty
And there really isn't a difference other than noticeable RPMS changes, and off of a dead stop.
