Major Problems...HELP

OK over the past week I've been installing my rotary extreme V mount IC (very nice set up by the way). While I was at it I decided to go non-seq, block everything off, and add 1300's. I finished yesterday and started it for the first time...it smoked and smoked like a damn train. I immediately cut the car off. Then it was flooded of course. I decided to put the 850's back in and try it again with my pfc reset to my original map. I started it today and it still smoked. The idle was right at 3K and my injector duty was showing 39-40% on my AVC-R. I'm running out of ideas and things to check. I unplugged my idle control motor but the car is still flooded currently. I needed to take a break and go buy new plugs.
Does blocking everything off cause it to run extremely rich or rich at all?
I double checked what little vacuum lines I have and everyhting is good. (Using the rikki non-seq diagram)
My vacuum during the high idle with the 850's back in was around 5-10.

My mods: PFC and datalogit, cat back, hi flow cat, AVC-r, hks twin power, intake, v mount IC, non-seq

Any other suggestions???

yup, that is the only thing different on the pfc right now. Everything else is the same as before.

another suggestion is....get a down pipe or you will take forever to spool up. But as for your problem....i started mine up and held the throttle to steady at 3k rpms and my vacuum is 20in/hg and my injector duty is 16, so it sounds like a vacuum leak to me. Do you mean you put in the block off plates....if so that could be a good place to start because it sound like a large vac leak, of coarse always check that the map sensor is hooked up correctly.

Did you change the Injector settings to 1300 from 850? Although, I can see why that would screw up the idle. I was also gonna say "check the MAP sensor". But R!dreamer beat me to it.

Well Sean found it (DeaconFrost). My throttle cable was holding the throttle up too much. I don't know why it needed adjusting because it was fine before. Anyway it works now! Thanks ttpete. Now I'll put the 1300's back in and see what happens.

Oh and I do have a down pipe too, just forgot to mention that...

The HKS twin power, I like it I guess. I couldn't tell any difference but then again I'm only running 10 psi and I haven't got on it lately. I'm getting tuned this weekend so I can drive it like I want to!
