Lil shifting problems

I'm having a time trying to shift from 2nd to 3rd when i'm drag racing........impossible to speed shift and only way is to granny shift.....driving around is fine and only going to 3rd...either its like hitting a bar that wont let you go in or goes" in between" gears but nothing is there....strange....no grinding or anything just can't shift......any one else have this problem.....fixing to change the trans and put in solid mounts....think its all moving around to much

try a diff brace first along with an engine tourque dampner. if all that wont keep it in line you can always buy A-SPEC tunings trans brace. oh and if you dont have a short shifter get one. that would be the biggest problem.

wow yea i would be pissed if i lost almost a grand to a shitty shift. when i installed my short shifter it was like night and day. i hit third like no ones business. and that was with a flexing driveline. first try the short shifter, then if that helps get the diff brace because it will take tremendous flex out of your driveline ( keep the tranny in place while shifting). i tried a friends kg parts diff brace and it helped alot but i am waiting for BLUETII/ banzai to finish their first production run of a cradle type brace which should be even stronger.

mike

oh you dont want solid mounts on the street. THEY SUCK
