Latest Pic's of the RE Amemiya light kit and new intake..

Hey guys. Im really happy with the way the car turned out. Got some show and go now....lol...
Ray did a great job fabing up an intake to cover my air filter from the light kit.
Can't wait till Sunday for the last race of the season.

HKS coilovers. With shipping it came to $1600. Pricy, but I didn't want a knock off.

I like the height... my TEIN S-techs with stock R1 struts are too low

I second that quest and also does that intake hole comes like that or did you have to cut it out? BTW, where did you get those sheet metal covers behind front bumper on top front of the car?

I just got my car back from ray few weeks ago as well and he does great work. I'm going to take my car there to get meth injection and few other tihngs done soon.

Also, I am thinking about going to MIR this sunday and I live in northern VA. Do you want to roll up there together? I'll be bringing my FD.

Kit was $1600 with shipping. It comes with the intake, but it is an option. The heat sheild I bought from rhdjapan.com. I will say this kit IS NOT a bolt in/drop in light kit. It took almost 8hours to install it, from wiring, triming to fit, more triming to fit, and putting the light kit togeather. (which I think should already be done when you get it for the money it cost).

I just can't stand the little rivets that show... I mean, it looks slick and very functional (intake), but the metal rivets ruin it for me. Nice set up, though... what a beast.

Looks good, I think a aftermarket hood would complete it.

Thanks guys and I agree, the headlights could have turned out better, but that was a quality issue, not an install issue. (already spent 8hrs on the install) The riviets that RE supplied were huge and looked horrible. I used these which were half the size. You have to use them as they make no other way to install them. Double sided tape isn't enough when your going 145mph+.
