Koyo Fitment ???

Im installing my Koyo and have a PFS IC...adn the duct wont fit through the opening of the frame and the top of the radiator even with the brackets reversed. The only other thing i see i can do to lower the koyo is to remove those bushing with bolts holding the top of the brackets on. Has anyone done this? Will the vibration be that bad if i take them off?

I had the Koyo....you could remove the bushings and put thinner rubber washers in to dampen the vibration...BUT I think you will hit the AC condensor. Mine was already almost touching the AC condensor WITH the bushings in place.

I had to cut the duct a bit. Installed PFS IC previous weekend. Its a tight fit and you need to work it down a bit, but in the end it fits. The duct doesnt mate to IC as good as one would want, but I used some duct tape atm, until I decide what to do to fill that gap (about 2/3 of an inch at the top of the IC). But I love the IC, I just cant believe how cold the "cold side" of the IC is after some hard driving. It surely does it job well.

Good luck !

This combo is a tight fit but it can be done. I used home depot aluminum heat tape to seal up the gaps on mine.

Its a form of Duct tape. Its used on heating duct vents and anywhere else that heat is a problem. It is aa piece of roled aluminium that has an adhesive backing to it. The stuff works great.

Cool, thanks. I gotta find that. The gray tape I'm using looks out of place, lol.
