It's a boost question
This has been a bit of an ongoing saga for me now. Long story short. Used to get no secondary. Now I have a nice strong secondary.
I have check as many of the hoses that I can get at. Found a few bad hoses and swapped them out. Just found a leak at the Vac Chamber and I boost more often than not now.
I ordered some parts from someone who went single and still have received them yet, but plodded on none the less.
So at the moment when I boost in 3rd I get 10-8-10 but the transition isn't the greatest. the boost flutters up and down till the transition is done and then we have a nice 10psi all the way to the line.
Could this fluttering be spike, and the wastegate dumping? It never goes over 10 on the gauge, just fluctuates between 8 and 10.
The car was decatted before I got it. which is why I was asking.
Also any guesses..... Looks like I am about to do or get the hose job done shortly...just wondering if it could be anything else.
Cheers
