First things first. Have you performed all the reliability mods first? If not, I'd do those first, and then worry about stuff like this

Reliability mods aside, the Greddy 3 piece pipe kit is only useful for the stock intercooler, which you should upgrade soon. You'd be better off figuring out what it is you want to do with the car, then upgrade parts to satisfy your needs. If you go out and buy parts for no real reason, you'll find yourself wasting a lot of money and have a lot extra parts sitting in your garage.

what i actually wanna do is upgrade the car a bit to be a bit carefree a friend of mine has a 2000 fd and his intercooler pipe broke out of nowhere. just like u said actually, reliability upgrades.
and the other thing is to make it slightly faster without big bore exausts and noisy things

anyways
any comments for rx7store.net?

thanks

I've had no problems with rx7store.net. Piping won't make your car any faster. Stick to the maintentance and reliability mods, and just enjoy the car for a while.

wont it help it keep the air cool in the pipes?
cause the plastic ones seem to attract all the heat

You need an AST, radiator, and boost gauge. But before that, you need to read all of this.

You seem like you're too lazy to, so I even linked it for you.

eh, you can just do what you want to do, if you want to listen to the people here go read the FAQ's like everyone has suggested, if you want to go your own route by all means do so. But keep in mind there is a lot of good information on these boards and you'd be wise to tap into it.

An elbow kit is not a reliability mod.

+1, as far as RX7store.net; i'd recommend them. Had a BIG lack of communication at first but as soon as Jason---the owner discovered the problem i was in contact with him much more frequently with updates on the status of my shipment and the parts arrived in no time at all.

plastic pipes are less likely to transfer heat, but more likely to wear and rip. The greddy hardpipes, much like the Efini Y pipe, they are hard pipes made to last a lot longer than ur original OEM.

reliability mods are cooling mods and replacing bad OEM parts that can wear out, break due to age, or simply poorly made to reduce the manufacture cost of the car. Things like aftermarket radiator, ast, new fuel filter, new spark plugs, aftermarket SMIC (stock mount intercooler), efini-y pipe... etc...

AST = air separater tank

like others mentioned. please go through the FAQ stickie thread on the top of the 3rd gen section. it goes over all the rx7 factory info, vocabulary terms, reliability mods list, and links to safty and performance mods installation write ups.

Metal holds heat alot more than plastic. It will smooth airflow.

Even look at Rx7store's power packages it should give you a good idea of staging your upgrades.
