Possible flooding?? HELP!!
My car does have 2 blown apex seals in the engine, but something weird happened. I was driving home from R&R to take my car back home so I could keep it in the garage untill I could afford the engine rebuild. Anyways, I was driving home and it was fine up until it boosted a little then it made a weird noise when boosting, it was like a fluttering like it was missing or not firing. I lost power and so I was pulling to the side of the freeway to see what was wrong and then it died on me, thank god I pulled off the freeway already. So from what I just told you, what do you think could be the problem? Is it possible to foul the plugs then flud it and have this happen? Just wondering, so any advice or thoughts are very very welcome! Thanks in advance, and lets all hope I can get this fixed ASAP!

I'd imagine that since a couple of your apex seals are blown that when you start to boost you're getting some blow-by into the other chambers and is causing it to missfire. Obviously, from my supremely technical response , I'm no rotary mechanic. But I wouldn't drive the car with blown apex seals. You could do more damage to your engine.

You probably just roasted the motor. You probably disentigrated the apex seals under boost which then destroyed your housing/s and rotor/s, depending if the two apex seals are on the same rotor or one bad apex on each rotor. You can tell when then engine is pulled by looking in the exhaust ports.
If so buy a reman and build it up.

why is everyone jumping on my case? The engines already gone and cannot be saved. I need a reman anyways. And the towing costs are way too expensive for where I am to my house. I wasn't trying to boost, can't I get help without being yelled at? For those that tried helping me thank you. Those that yelled at me maybe I shouldn't of asked here.

Yes this is all true. I know everything is messed up in that car now. I am going to tow it and shovel $6,000 into getting a reman and possible turbos. I am thinking of going single! But we will see how this all goes later. Thanks for the help guys, Let's just hope it can get towed with no problems because this whole week has been nothing but problems!

This is an old thread but I just wanted to let everyone know that we found out what the problem was. My ecu for some reason fried on me, we replaced it after we got everything else in and now it runs great. So it wasn't the motor but it was the ecu that ultimately caused the starting problem. I'll take some pictures and everything later tomorrow after I wash it!

Hooray For Boobies!!!
There are two or three meanings to the word "gone".
One being the engine has lost compression on two of the chambers or blown coolant seals= still half *** drivable and can salvage motor parts.
Two being the engine does not start (no compression on most chambers front and rear rotor) or run but the engine parts can be saved.
Three being the motor is toast and no parts can be saved cause you forced broken apex seals into the housings or turbos.
It sounds like you were at the first stage of "gone" and now you are all the way gone. before you may have been able to save the rotor housing but now maybe not. This will cost you more money on the rebuild.

Found out that when they welded the car's new radiator support on at the body shop they never disconnected the ecu. Well it fried the ecu as a result, so if anyone ever gets something on their chasis welded make sure the ecu ground and everything is disconnected from the ecu. Just to let everyone know so no one goes through the same thing. I heard the car today and it sounds awsome, this new streetport sounds great! I also now have a PFS catback on it which sounds pretty nice but very loud.
