Until you get your larger intercooler, don't run the car over 10 psi, especially at the track (road racing or auto-cross, if you mean drag strip, run 12-13 psi). With a larger intercooler, you should be able to run 12 psi or so on the stock fuel system with no problems. Just watch your injector duty with the Commander. If you start to exceed 85% (this will probably happen around 12.5-13 psi), you are basically running the injectors wide open and have less of a safety cushion if something happens. You could probably run 14 psi just fine, but it's running near the limits of the stock system and I don't feel comfortable running it like that.

Why cant u run 12 psi on the stock intercooler if the power FC comes tuned for it? why would they tune it like that?

On the street, for short spirited bursts you can prolly get away with it. For any kind of serious racing with prolonged boosting, that little stock intercooler becomes an interheater. I wouldn't push over ten, personally. Either that or don't race until you have the commander to keep tabs on everything, as well as the upgraded IC.

Two questions---what kind of racing, and are you seeing any kind of boost creep?
