Will work for horsepower
Unplug the coil harness plug in the hks harnes, plug in the hks harness into the coil harnes, then you have only one place to plug the remaning plug into.

thats not paint....
There should be a small harness that plugs into all 3 coils, It all comes together in a 4 pin plug that connects to the main harness. Unplug this and patch in the HKS harness. If you have the right harness its pretty hard to mess up.

There are two wires plugged together, the connection is behind the pump near the spark plugs. You disconnect them, put the HKS harness between them, plug the 3rd wire off the HKS harness to the HKS box and ground the box. It doesn't get easier than this.

The actual plug can be very difficult to see from up top (at least mine was, because it was attached to the wiring loom leading from the fuse box). You might have to jack your car up/put it on ramps/lift to look at the loom from underneath to get a clear view and access to the plug. Mine was attached underneath the loom with factory zipties (which were then wrapped with the wiring loom tape), making it virtually impossible to get at from up top unless I pulled off the TB elbow. It was easier for me to put the front of the car up on ramps so that I could access the plug. Because the factory ziptie was holding the plug tight against the wiring loom, I cut it (taking great care not to cut anything else...) so that I could get disconnect the plug more easily.
As others have stated, if you have the plug-in harness, there's only one way to do it, and it's the only four-prong plug in that vicinity.

Take your hand and find the wires hooked to the coils, then follow them back to the plug it cant be much easer. If you have to follow front spark plug wire to coils so you can find them. If Ray Charles were alive he could find it for you!!!!

The coil pack is under upper plenuim. The wires your looking for is dasie chained from rear trailing coil to leading coil to front trailing coil and then to the plug in connection. I dont know the plug your talking about but if car runs dont worry. If you pull the elbow off your throttle body you should see it better. Keep trying.

alright well i seriously can't find this thing. Is there a possiblity that wiring got messed up some how? or does everything have to be where it supposed to to be able to work? I tried following the spark plugs wires which lead me up near the uim. Theres a huge boundle of wires that look like they split into 2 smaller bundels. If some one could please help me out with a picture wit their elbow off and circle where it should be that would be a life saver.

Look at where your two main fuse boxes are on the driver's side of the engine compartment. You will see two main large wiring looms tied together going back from the fuse/diagnostic boxes leading to the engine, past the PS pump and lines. Follow the big wiring loom with your hand as it starts to lead downward past the PS pump; you should notice one plug coming off the loom with four wires encased in a rubberized plastic sheath leading toward where the coils are. The plug may very well be completely underneath the wiring loom, tucked tight against the loom with a factory ziptie and the loom tape, which is why you cannot find it initially. Just follow the large wiring loom as it goes past the PS pump, and you should find it. It's the only four-prong plug in the vicinity.

why don't you email some of the garages like gotham or banzai and see if they have a car they are working on that has this part already exposed and if they will snap a quick pic for you. honestly though, it's not rocket science. I was able to do it and I'm probably one of the most inept members mechanically speaking.
