hks downpipe and efini y-pipe in, problems though

hey guys,
just finished installing my hks downpipe and efini y-pipe. the car is louder and you can really hear the turbos spooling up, it sounds sweet. i have some problems though, 1: quiet clicking noise coming from the turbo area (could i not have tightened the downpipe bolts enough?) 2: at idle i noticed the downpipe and the turbo closest to the front was red hot, after i drove it around it was not as bad but was glowing a little bit (maybe because its flowing more when im driving?) but still seems bad, should i worry about this?. 3: my boost was spiking up to 12 psi (im guessing because of the y pipe?) maybe i should get a boost controller to fix that problem. any input would be helpfull,
thanks,
Craig

Craig your ok to run 12psi on stock fuel levels.
If it goes over 13 I would get a boost controller asap.
Clicking noise is most likely the coolant system. Do you notice it after driving or while driving?
Red hot downpipe? Most likely you have a clogged catalytic converter. Get a new one or a high flow depending on weather or not you plan on modifying the car more or not..
You coming to the meet in Tysons Corner on the 21st of this month?
There is a thread in the NE. forum ..

I cant hear the clicking noise while im driving the car, i noticed it right when i started the car and was loudest on the passenger side. After i drove it around for about 10 min. it was a lot quieter, but still there. i have a hi flow cat on order, the N-tech one, but apparently i have to get a nipple or something welded onto it so i can plug the air pump into it. (does anyone know if this is right? Im not sure)
thanks,
Craig

There are aftermarket high flow cats with the airpump nipple on them already...

If you aren't going to do anything with your stock cat, you can have the air pump connection taken off it and then put on the N-Tech hi-flo. I would imagine that any decent muffler shop could do that for you if you don't have the tools yourself.
