I'm just trying to decide whether or not this is just another ebay scam. I'm no dummy and I'm not going to use any wire transfer service for a deposit that doesnt insure my money, but I would still like to know. I noticed one of the tell tale signs, the Ships to "Worldwide," also there is some bad grammar in the lower piece, just seems like it might have been written by some foreigner, like the russians and middle eastern people that usually attempt the ebay car scams. (From experience, not stereotype)
I had seen this car once listed before not too long, and it also has Florida plates in the pictures, while the dealer says he is out of California. I tried emailing him but got no reply.. I really like the car and deffinately want to get a 3rd gen, my brother is Fujikuro on here with the silver 94 touring, but I just don't think this is legit. If anyone knows the seller or can help me out I would appreciate it.. Thanks. - Tim
One thing caught my eye, is that he lists his location as Anaheim, CA. And the car has a license plate from FLA. But, that could be no big deal at all.
Feedback means nothing, I've seen many scams from sellers with high feedback. I'm not sure how its done but i believe someone steals the account, and is able to access it and list items. Which by most looking at the feedback think its legit BE CAREFUL, if it looks to good to be true usually it is. I noticed the auction ended, anyone from the board win?
Gracias, its Jordan Capri and friends. Was looking for a song on Kazza and dl it by accident. Turns out the chick is fkin hott. I couldn't resist. Heres a bigger pic:
Would someone running a scam bother to hijack the account of someone with ****-poor feedback?
His transactions for this year total a whopping $20 or so, and his other sales and purchases are all too old to verify if they were at all car-related. You should always look at what activity the seller has in his past. If they're selling beanie babies and all of a sudden they have a Supra or FD for sale for an incredible price, it doesn't matter if they have 10,000 feedback and it's all positive. Walk away.
