Headlight/Combo Switch wiring harness
Afternoon Gents.
I'm writing from work, so i ain't got my repair manual to cut and paste from, but i have a wiring question for y'all.
About 2 years ago, the previous owner of my FD had a break in/theft attempt. The end result was that he got a new ingition and probalby combo switch on the steering column.
Now, I don't have the reciept for the work, i never got it from him when i bought the car. BUT what happens now, is that the highbeams and lowbeams seem to be completely reversed.
(i will post wiring diagram here when i get home).
Can I, at the wiring harness under the steering colum, cut and swap the wires that would be low and high beam so that they function normally? Or do i need to go and re wire somethign within the switch to make it work properly.
I don't have a wheel puller, and i don't understand the method of disabling my driver's aribag, so i don't want to take the wheel off.
