Gotham racing short throw shifter

So...I just got my gotham racing short throw shifter in the mail today. I have to say. I thought i had seen it before. It looked really familiar. So i started looking and behold http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Perfo...87805280QQrdZ1 Here it is with the exact cuts in the metal, exact same shift rod design and the exact same mounting hardware. I have to say i feel had. It cost me $100. With $15 shipping. That means that i payed literally 5 times as much just to get it from gotham. I think i'm going to be giving them a call and seeing if there is something that can be done. Let me know if you guys know anything about this. Thanks.

I'm chill, its just that it looks exactly like the ebay special. The only thing that concerns me is that the ball that it pivots on is plastic. Is the b&m that way too?

Ebay has its share of cheap knock-offs. Just because it looks like the Gotham/B&M does not mean it is the same. Would you call Prada and complain because a street vendor in a back alley in NY city is selling the "same" bag for $20? I really don't see that conversation going well.

As for the parada comparison. If it happened to be made at the same factory by the same people with the same quality control standards i dont think i would complain at all. So yeah. I'm not going to say anything more about this. I really like Gotham and the people who work there. I'm not trying to say anything bad about their shifter at all. I'm sure it works great. With what i know now after talking to them, i'm going to drop this. I dont want people thinking anything bad about them. I'm getting a B&M now, think what you will.
