GM 3 Bar Map Sensor Part Number

Hi everyone, I am having a hard time finding the part number for a 3 bar GM map sensor. I was hoping someone could share the information and lead me in the right direction. Apparently there are a couple different versions (new and old) and I dont know which one is which. I know there are many GM STYLE 3 bar map sensors out there, I just want to make sure I get the real deal and not a fake. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
-Andrew

The reason why I am asking for the part number is so I can get it through my cousin. He is commercial manager at autozone and has always gave me a great deal on oem parts.

"16040749" Is the part number for the older version of the GM 3 bar. The newer gen style GM part number "12223861"

Get the newer one if possible. Also don't get the AC Delco brand. It is made in China now. Stick to genuine if possible. BWD or Import Direct usually will have genuine but not always.

I'm not sure if they carry those brands. I'm a Sales manager at Oreillys and that is the brands we usually carry.

The genuine map sensor is available for around $60 online also.

***Beware of knock-off GM "STYLE" sensors*** They are inaccurate and we've had serious issues tuning on and running with them. Also unfortunately, you can't trust what online sellers claim. From DIYautotune to many other online sellers (even on summit's website with pictures of the "fast" gm 3 bar "genuine" sensor) they are aftermarket units. The real "genuine" Delphi sensor has a glossy sticker with the part number, lot number, and bar code... if your sensor is missing this it's not legit. Unfortunately most online retailers use a photo of the real one, blatantly lying and or sneaking the word "style" into the product description, and send a knockoff. We have a hard time finding ANY vendor selling legitimate GM 3 bar sensors!!!

We are affiliated in no way with GMparts direct but this is where we get our sensors for our shop cars. This is why our 3 bar map sensor bracket and adapter are not available with a sensor... we can't find a source (so far) to get the legitimate sensors in bulk and refuse to sell a knockoff to an unsuspecting customer. We've seen fluctuations in sensor output, and have had all sorts of tuning issues related to the use of inaccurate knock-off GM "style" sensors... other vendors are happy to sell something inferior to an unsuspecting customer to make a few bucks, and considering it's the eyes and ears of your ECU to judge how much fuel to inject... it's pretty damn important for that sensor to be completely ACCURATE and STABLE.
GM Parts Direct: Your direct source for Genuine GM Parts
PN# 12223861 3bar MAP

here's some more information on sensor values and part numbers for the genuine sensor check out this site: GM MAP sensor identification information 1 bar 2 bar 3 bar

(shameless plug time ) here's our plug and play map sensor bracket and adapter wire... if we stumble upon a source for legitimate sensors in bulk we'll add them but for now GMPartsDirect is where I refer people to go for a decent deal on a legit Delphi sensor.
