I HIGHLY recommend the metal front cover gasket. Solves a lot of the problems of the front cover design - eliminates the O-ring, no need to trim the bottom of the gasket, much better sealing, you name it.
I consider this a must if you're putting an engine together.

Hey dale you don't happen to have a picture of it do you? I ordered an RX8 front cover gasket from Ray at Malloy, but it doesn't look like the right gasket. The bottom doesn't seem to line up.

Thats way different than what Ray sent me. I may need one from you guys here in the next couple days. I need to contact Ray first though to see if he can swap it out.
