FPR Mounting Location

I have searched for some pictures that show where others with the extreme fuel system from the RX7 store mounted their Fuel Pressure Regulator but I haven't had any luck.
My problem is that I wasn't supplied enough braided line to reach the one place that I do have space, which is where my smog pump used to be located.
If anyone has any suggestions or pictures it would be greatly appreciated.

Brian

Get a bracket welded onto the front of the UIM and hang it there. Very easy. Is this an aeromotive?

It is a SARD. With the vacuum canister there, there isn't enough clearance. That was the first place I tried.

Here's the FPR mounted to the UIM. I created a bracket and drilled the piece that hangs down in the middle:

atihun's location is the ideal location. However, if you are still running the twin turbos in sequential form, you'll have an issue with the pressure chamber. It is an option to locate the FPR on the other side of the UIM between the firewall (AWS will most likely need to be removed). The problem with that location is that most drag strips will frown on that location and may refuse to let the car run.

The local strip in my area gave a buddy of mine problems when he located his there, but did allow him to run.

If you have the ACV removed, you might be able to relocate the pressure chamber there and then mount the FPR in front of the UIM.

It has to do with safety regulations of fuel components being a certain distance from the firewall. I don't know if all tracks have these requirements (as I mentioned above), but just posting info from my experiences.

I did remove my ACV so I'll have to see if the pressure chamber will fit. Thanks for the great idea.
