Home Depot and Lowes.

Get a short length of chain, bolt one end of the chain to the back of the engine through one of the tranny bolt holes on the back of the motor, bolt the other end of the chain to one of the pressure plate bolt holes on the flywheel. Get a 2 1/8" socket from Sears along with an adapter to neck it down to 1/2" drive.

If you have a decent impact gun, go to work. If not, get a decent size breaker bar while you're at Sears also.

I've screwed around with all sorts of techniques and used the Mazdatrix tools as well. This works SUPER quick and easy, gets the job done, and the same technique works for removing the front pulley bolt.

Impact gun with at least 600 foot pounds and you dont need any kind of flywheel holder. Otherwise the chain like Dale said works good.

I just put my engine into the back of my suberban and took it to the nearest shop.
It took them two seconds to get it out. The only problem was finding a shop that had a socket to fit the nut. I ended up going to s semi truck shop.
good luck
