Ok guys heres what happened I was at our autoshop on post changing my oil and sparkplugs(and wires). We changed the oil with no problems. Then we went and changed the spark plugs...heres where it gets ugly. I was lookin at my ail filter deciding if it was ok or not, while my buddy was changin the plugs. Well little did i know that advanced auto instead of giving me leading and trailing just gave me trailing. Well he doesnt know any better so he just installs them..so when we go to start the car it runs like crap. So we fix that problem and then install the new wires....and once again he screws the wires up. I finally break down and go to mazda and find the wiring diagram and get them right. But the car still runs like crap and shoots smoke and keeps missing. At this point Im ready to just destroy the car. My only Idea is that maybe the timing is off. Also I have never blown a apex seal but maybe thats what happened. Just lookin for some help im totally out of ideas.

well to me sounds like ur coils might be bad! take ur coils out and messure it in ohms make sure there in specs!......also double check the gap on the plus make sure there perfect to specs as well..............good luck!

Well what kind of plugs did you put in the car? did you take the intake off to change the wires out completly?
I would say your timing has not changed and you just have somthing installed incorectly. The coils are labeld with leading and trailing and which rotor. You could always try installing the old plugs to see if anything changes.

There is nothing wrong with running trailing plugs all around, most of us with modified cars do that very thing.
Next time only replace one wire at a time (good advice for any car).
Make sure the wires are properly connected, the UIM was put back correctly, and that your MAP sensor is still connected.
Boy, if you are already ready to destroy the car just from this little thing, maybe you should reconsider car choices.

If you took off the intake elbow in order to give you more room for the plugs it is not uncommon to unplug the vacuum line that goes to your map/boost sensor by accident when reinstalling the elbow. I'd check there first.

If you got the plugs from Advanced Auto, most likely they sold you Bosch plugs. These plugs are no good for a Jap car. If this is the case, go get some NGK's from the dealer. If I'm wrong, go with the suggestions above.

Lol I wasnt bein searious guys about destroying the car...took me too long and was to hard to get it. The sparks plugs ark NGK they were the same that were in the car when I got it. I did take the elbow off when I installed them. Im guessing you are talking about the vacuum like that bolts on the elbow. I checked that and its good as well. Umm Now for the map sensor where exactly is that located?? Also Im deeply hurt emotionally about the mustang comment...they are a plague to humanity. Also could anyone hook me up with anothe wiring chart by any chance?? If its flooded then, I should just beable to leave it set while im at work and it should start when I get back right? Thx guys for the help...I know Im just trying to learn as much as I can about my car.

The map is right behind the hose that comes out of the elbow. It's above/behind the oil filter, mounted to the firewall.

To test your coils you first touch your leads toghether and take that measure (which should be in Ohms) and reduce it from your total. This should not exceed 1 Ohm. In other words, lets say you touch your leads get 0.4 ohm but then test with your coil and get 1.2 ohm that means the coil is at 0.8ohm (all imaginary numbers).
For your MAP sensor it is a little black box with is screwed into the firewall with a 10mm. On the left of the brake booster it has a vacuum nipple facing directly downward( as in towards the ground). If it is unplugged your car should run pretty shitty.
