oil & filter: 2k - 3k miles
plugs: every 10k - 15k miles
wires: check every 15k miles and replace as needed
fuel filter: something like 30k but not sure

Have you ever checked out the se section of this forum. We have a lot of meets and stuff. Hope you can come out sometime.

The fuel filter is often overlooked and very important. Dave at KD Rotary told me he's seen a number of engines which blew because of a clogged fuel filter. The filter is undersized for the car, and if fuel flow is obstructed you get detonation and BOOM.

When KDR changed my fuel filter at 10,000 miles, Dave found water in it. So although the owner's manual calls for replacing the fuel filter every 48 months or 60,000 miles, I don't think every 15,000 to 20,000 miles is too soon to do it. It's cheap insurance against a possible catastrophic failure.

I've heard that you should chang eoil every 2-3k miles but filter every other time so it will filter out the really small stuff. Is this true?

I change the filter about every 2-3k. As for the oil, it depends on how many track events I have. I change the oil before and after track events and during those changes I don't change the oil filter.

Plugs, I change mine at least once a year (depending on how bad I beat on them during the year it may happen more than once). My car sees maybe 3-4k miles a year (if that). Wires, only change when needed. I'm using the Magnanor wires and they are holding up extremely well.

Diff and Tranny fluid once a year. Coolant flush at least once a year. Typically as I may plan to change what percentages I'm running for an event (really hot weather or cooler weather).

Everything is depending on what you do with your car. The guys who put their cars on the track will definitely do maintenance a lot more frequent than the guys who just keep their cars on the street.

Just follow the maintenance manual except change the oil more often.

I changed my fuel filter at 30k and didn't notice any improvement in fuel mileage or engine smoothness. Mazda recommends 60k.

Mazda recommends 30k for spark plugs but most shops do it at 15k. I am going to wait since I am not noticing any issues at 20k since last change.
