Cruise Control

I have a strange problem with my cruise control. When i push the button with the IGN on, the light comes on. When I start the car the light goes off and the cruise will not work. This happened over nite?

You have to turn the cruise control system on when you start the car...

When I turn the cruise on with engine running the light wont come on

Maybe it is speed activated above a certain speed

Yup - minimum speed is 25 mph (40kph).
