Yes it is but that's why you have to put an inline thermostat. Usually they start opening around 170* and are fully open by 180* or so.

My car is an R2 so it had twin coolers. They have been transferred over to my girls R1 because her's were missing. The Fluidyne i have is about equal to the two stock coolers. The reason i set mine up this way was so i could also put a tranny cooler on the passenger side. The TH350 that's in the car now with it's huge stall will need every bit of the Mocal.

It's very hard at 1st but gets a little easier with practice. I'm 6'2" so the FD cockpit is already a little tight. I had to lower the seat about an 1" so i could sit comfortably with my helmet on. Until i did that i couldn't even put my head upright.

so a JMD cluster/hood thing fits in a LHD? Not that you have a problem with hacking things up to make it work

NIIIIIICE avatar too

thanks guys! The car is going to be fully streetable with occasional track time. It's going to be a 9 sec. street car with the hopes of going 8's. Please don't flame me for my goals. These are my goals and i don't really see too much of a problem getting there.

Right now we have 2 of the quickest/fastest Supra's in the country so i have a little experience. The only thing that might slow me down a little is getting the rotary to hold up long enough to get the car dialed in.

My girls car is more of a street/drift setup. I'm teaching her the art of drifting. It's got a streetported motor with the HKS T04E kit. It's also got a very girly paint job on it....the color is a light blue metallic with a couple of pearls. The car changes quite a few different colors.

My car is silver but the bumper is chrome-illusion crap that i bought off of someone. It's getting repainted in the next couple of weeks. It'll be staying silver for sure......just a flawless silver
