It is still too much money. 4000$ parts/labor for new turbos is a RIP OFF. I would actually feel somewhat guilty making my warranty company pay 8500$ to fix that small list of problems - knowing that it will just result in increased warranty prices for all.

I have a receipt (from 1998?) if anyone's interested. It was when I first got the car and didn't know any better. Same as Dragueur, under warranty.
In hindsight, the turbo's were probably fine. The dealer was the one that needed to be replaced.

so is that including rebuild then?
i had the same kinda stuff happen to my car.
-i got new rotor housing new rotors along with my rebuild (new lines and seals ect.)
-replacement turbos and radiator.
-new battery box.
-aluminium ast.
-and a street port.
all for $6500 aus including labor and 1 yr warrenty
with what you said, i doubt that ur stuff would be more then mine, unless the turbos are brand new

If you need to replace the turbos most likely the warranty won't pay for new ones. They are going to stick you with some rebuilt crap.
I had my turbos replaced three times (in a row) because they kept putting in **** rebuilt ones. Finally I got some that were good. I didn't know this at the time but apparently many others have problems with rebuilt turbos.
The best advice I can give you: If your company won't cough up the dough for new turbos, have them pay what the rebuild ones would cost and you supplement the extra cash for the new, aftermarket (ball bearing), 99-spec. Basicallly what ever twin tubos set up you like I bet that going single violates warranty though.

Good job. Ryan Warranty tried to reject my failed tach claim because an aftermarket 12 volt device was tapped into a wiring harness (probably an alarm system, but before I owned the car). They claim that caused the tach to fail.
Fortunately, I work for an electrical engineering firm (though I'm an ME). We went over the schematics in the back of the Manual and proved their claim wasn't possible. They paid for the tach.
Good luck. I hope all works out for you.
