Black/blue smoke and rought idle on start, have searched

My car sat for about 4 weeks without running it, thought I would take it out for a run. Last time I was out everything was running good. On start up got black/blue exhaust and very rough idle. Smoke started to clear as it came up to temp, but still very rough idle, breaking up over about 2500 rpm, and intermittant exhaust pops. Plugs have about 1K miles on them, all 9's. I have checked the hoses to MAP, checked for other loose hoses,, and checked engine codes (none). My maximum injector duty cycle was 22 (about normal for a cold start) and was running around 10. Vacume was slighty below normal. Would appreciate any suggestions on what I can check next or any suggestions on where I can go from here.
Thanks!

it was about 10 degrees out here (mayland) the other night and when i fired mine up, it huffed and puffed and popped a little too... quit though once it got up to temp. normally, just in the 20 degree range, it blows a little extra smoke for a while. rule of thumb on the smoke...
white smoke=too much fuel
blue smoke=too much oil
black smoke=fire
i've had a number of older cars (1974 Triumph Spitfire with 32k on it, 1985.5 Porsche 944 with 165k on it, etc.) and they all act the same way on start up in the cold.
