Car Cover

My wife has had it, she can't stand scraping the ice off her car anymore nor does she like how long it takes the car to get warm on the way to work. I fought a good battle but lost. Time to move the 7 out into the elements. Does anyone know where I can buy a good quality car cover specificly design for the 3rd gen?

I got mine from www.carparts.com I just got the generic one that fit the FD (not fitted specifically for the FD, just for that size car) and it works fine. No ice or snow gets through, and if I remember right, it was only like $100.

didn't waysho's cover got put onto ebay? guess not sold there...

if you can get a custom made cover with noah fabric, 200 bones should be reasonable.

while I finish my TII project, the FD is sitting with a older car cover just to keep the dirty cat prints off the black. Any cover that's water proof since you don't want it to rain with a cover on the car and let it sit there.

I have from Mazdatrix that fits better than the other OEM cover I have (but mine isn't blue like Waysho's, her's is a little fancier ). The Mazdatrix cover is a VERY tight fit. We had some serious winds here a few months ago and I didn't have to tie it down. It's pretty water resistant as well, but it is "breathable" so water vapor sometimes makes it through, but dirt stays off.

I got my cover from Griot's Garage and they even did a custom job for the '99 spec wing.
The cover slides up in the rear cuz I can't get my antenna all the way down since it got bent last winter.

I'll add one more little point about the Mazdatrix cover (which is made by someone else, of course). It covers down to the ground, past the lowest point of the rims, a favorite point for the neighborhood cats to **** on.

Got my custom made car cover from calcarcover.com. They custom designed the car cover since I had a wing and it fits perfect. Their customer service is also great, I would definetly recommend them.

Good Luck
