buzzing sound under UIM after stalling
hey guys my car has picked up a surging problem, seems like anytime i want to hit boost it will surge and accelerate so damn slowy, also seems to be stalling while driving too.
i parked it on the side of the rd to let it idle and check for any loose vacuum hoses but there are none. then the car stalled and i heard a pretty loud buzzing sound from under the UIM. what would make a buzzing sound under there?

Are you running a PFC....if so the buzzing is most likely the IAC, for some reason the PFC doesn't recognize that the engine is no longer running and it will continue to attempt to idle causing the IAC to buzz like crazy. if this is the case than it is not related to your other problems.

yes i do have a powerfc. i pulled the ISC out yesterday, cleaned and ran 12v through it and it works fine. My idle seems fine though when it does idle.
this problem happened straight after i put the stock computer in for a safety inspection, my OMP is dead so the stock ecu is in limp mode. when i put the PFC back in it seemed like its still in limp mode.

Make sure you premix 2-stroke oil right away!
The IACV/Speed Control will freak out and buzz because it can't get a correct reading from the TPS (something like that). Simply disconect it to tell if that is where the noise comes from (noise will go away). Noise is result of a faulty/out of range TPS and the IACV is not the cause. I know I bought another one even though it tested within spec (11.5v) and they are about $450. If you can not set your TPS to spec then start trying to figure out why. Check your cruise control cable. If it is slightly holding the throttle open then adjust it. Check wax rod and other throttle related stuff affecting TPS. You can use the PFC for the voltage, just keep in mind it reads about .02v higher.
