serpentine belt FD
does anyone know the proper size of the main drive belt ( alternator/ air pump), ive searched previous threads and all i found were ones on where you can buy them and greddy pully kit conversions and so fourth .
Aswell why is there two different size belts for auto and manual transmissions its not like anything changes in the front when you have a auto or manul right?, and with the auto one being the shorter of the two, i have an auto right now am swapping a manual in very soon so hence i order the belt for a manual .
my original belt that i took off the car was tight and hard to get off and the tensioner was as loose as it would go , the manual belt i purchased seems to be way to tight to go on, the belt size was 53"
do i just need to find a different belt size all together or is there a way to pre stretch my new belt so i can get it on , as i said the tensioner is as loose as can be but the belt just seems way to tight to put on , iv already chipped a piece of rubber off trying to get it on.
any help would be appreciated
thanks
